The RaspberryPi 3 Model B is the third generation RaspberryPi and replaces the RaspberryPi 2 Model B in February 2016. Compared to the RaspberryPi 2 it has: • Broadcom BCM2837 64Bit Quad Core Processor • Processor Speed: QUAD Core running at 1.2 GHz • Core Architecture: ARM • Core Sub-Architecture: ARM8 • Silicon Manufacturer: Broadcom • Silicon Family Name: BCM2xxx • RAM: 1GB SDRAM @ 400 MHz • Storage: MicroSD • USB 2.0: 4x USB Ports • Max Power Draw/voltage: 2.5A @ 5V • GPIO: 40 pin • Ethernet Port: Yes (on board) • WiFi: Yes (on board) • Bluetooth: Yes (on board) Notes: The Broadcom BCM2837 chip is used in the RaspberryPi 3 Model B. The new power configuration can now drive the USB ports. WiFi and Bluetooth are included on the motherboard. OS: Raspbian, Win10 Core IoT, OpenELEC, OSMC, Arch Linux, RISC OS, Pidora. |
